Help answer the question about diet nutrition weight loss

Effective diet for weight loss?
I am 5'3, 145 lbs and 26 years old. I want to start slimming down for my upcoming wedding, and I want to lose the weight at a good rate so that I'm not trying one ridiculous crash diet after another.

I need a little bit of a jump-start to get me motivated… here is what I was thinking:

chicken breast (grilled, baked or lean deli meat)
tuna
yogurt
apples
lots and lots of water
no soft drinks (even diet)
EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control shakes (2 carbs, 17 protein)
Lots and lots of salads
6 inch Subway Veggie Delite (as per the nutrition guide at Subway)

I want to try this "diet" for about three weeks to see how much I can lose to jump-start my weight loss. I will also be working out 3-4 times a week for at least an hour, and strength training for 30 minutes 2-3 times a week.

Does this sound like it would work? If I could lose 10 lbs within a month, that would give me a good jump-start and more motivation!
