For those trying to loose weight, choosing from the numerous weight loss programs can be quite a daunting task. The best solution to this problem is to decide not on a diet but a nutritional change of life. Dieting for a month or a year will not help if you return to old eating habits. Instead try and choose a diet that can be a consistent way of eating for years to come.
Know about some diet plans below and choose the best for you:
Atkins
The Atkins diet focuses on a high protein low carbohydrate diet. Because carbohydrates are used for energy, eliminating their intake forces the body to use fat stores. If breads, rice, and potatoes favorites then this might not be the right lifestyle choice.
South Beach
The South Beach diet also restricts carbohydrates. The South Beach diet does not allow consumption of bad fats. In addition this diet does not strictly count carbohydrates and allows carbs with a low glycemic index.
The Zone Diet
The Zone Diet plan is based on eating the correct combination of foods, 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbohydrates. For those who can enjoy the bad foods in extreme moderation this way of eating might work well.
Mediterranean Diet
The Mediterranean Diet focuses more on keeping the heart healthy than losing weight. It focuses on eating a lot of vegetables and fruits and some nuts and wine and using good oils for cooking. Fish is encouraged while red meat is discouraged. Keep in mind weight loss will be slow.
Macrobiotic Diet
This diet is low fat, high fiber and is mostly vegetarian. In this meal plan whole grains make up about 50% of each meal. Vegetables make up about 30% and beans make up about 10% of the diet. Fish is allowed in very small amounts and meat, poultry and eggs are not permitted. This is a very restrictive diet and might not be a good lifestyle choice.
Gluten Free
A Gluten Free diet is mostly for those allergic to wheat. It avoids all foods containing gluten or from gluten cereals like wheat, rye or barley. In addition this does not promote weight loss.
Detox Diets
Most detox diets are liquid diets whose purpose is to rid the body of harmful chemicals and toxins. There are some special formulated liquids to aid in this type of diet and some people just drink hot water with lemon for a few days and consume nothing else. Obviously there is weight loss but this is not a long term nutritional plan.
While choosing a new nutritional lifestyle is advantageous to weight and health, good fitness programs should also be included. Aerobic activity and weight trains should be included in a fitness routine.

Help answer the question about nutrition fitness weight loss
Where can I learn about fitness and working out?I'm a nutrition major and obviously, exercise (as well as nutrition) is also an important part of being healthy. I give a lot of people nutrition (especially weight loss) advice and part of my advice to them is to exercise. (everybody knows the importance of exercise) The only probem is that I don't know enough about exercising/working out to tell people exactly what types of workouts to do, how, and how much. I can only tell them the minimum amount of info I know. Where can I take classes to become knowledgeable like a personal trainer? I want to know as much about working out as I do about nutrition.

There are about 10 different editions of this book — who knows what page they are on! And if you HAVE the book, just skim it until you find it. Since you read it "like 5 times" that shouldn't take anyh time at all.

First of all you shoud be called a great BIG conservative. To be an American you should have respect for the Constitution and what it stands for. The current admin does not even recognize to Constitution. Mr. Bush considers it "A god damn piece of paper" Cheney cannot even remember that the military oath is to defend the Constitution. (His memory failed during a prepared speech to West Point graduates)
At the end of your dissertation you requote Mr Bush as stating he he stands firm for non-negotiable demands of human dignity.
So far during his watch:
Rescue workers at ground zero were lied to regarding their health.
Habeus Corpis was revoked after 200 years
Torture was instituted (including children)
Americans have had their phone conversations eaves dropped upon.
The public has been lied to regarding war.
Thousand of American soldiers have died
Hundred of thousands of Iraqi citizens have been murdered.
The deficit is at 3 Trillion dollars and the American dollar may collapse because of the debt.
Gas prices have risen dramatically and that is not due to the price of oil. The refineries are not working at capacitiy and the oil companies ( this admin. is a part of) have raked in record profits.
The middle class has eroded. Americans are now putting living expenses on their credit card.
The government has not been held accoutable to the people.
Women are certainly not respected when the ban on late-term abortions did not include emergencies concerning the life of the mother.
Religion is only tolerated if you believe in the approved God.
Property Rights are not respected when you consider "eminant domain"
Freedom of speech is only "free" when you agree with the policies of the admin. (or if your FOX noise)
There is NO equal justice since this current regime has taken power and eroded our civil rights. The same rights that we are supposedly defending with the war on terror.
The USA has not signed the Kyoto accords.
The USA has NEVER signed any UN resolutions regarding human rights.
The USA does not belong to the International Court so none of our leaders can be tried for human rights violations or crimes against humanity.
Stop listening to the propaganda and do some independent research before you regurgitate the "official line".
This president may think he has principles but he certainly does not abide by them. The sheep that are following are fellow Republicans (congress) and certainly NOT liberals!!!
So whose idea of "right" are you speaking of?
